The prefab shop is ready. The drawings it cuts from are not.

An MEP contractor with a prefab shop wins its margin when ductwork and pipes arrive on site as racks and kits that go up in a day. It loses it when a module is cut from a model that still clashes with a beam, when the shop does not know which module the site needs next, and when a truck arrives with the wrong floor. This page cuts a real clinic's HVAC and plumbing into shop modules and follows each one from the detailer's desk to the ceiling it hangs in.

Every module in one board: detailing, held by a clash, cutting, assembly, pressure test, on the road, installed. The late ones are listed with the clash that made them late.

For the shop floor

Today's cut list on a tablet: every length in millimetres with its IFC id, ticked off as it is cut. The lengths come from the model, not from a drawing retyped.

For logistics and the site

Loads planned per delivery day in install order, the weight of each lift, and the site foreman's list of what to hang today and what arrives in the next three days.
