Will it fit your A1 mini?
You print on an A1 mini and a customer sends a part that looks too big. Turned on the bed, a long part often fits. Some never will. Send us the STL. We slice it on the A1 mini the way the slicer places it, and when it does not fit, we slice it on a bigger printer and give you the hours.
Check a sizeWhy the size alone does not tell you
The diagonal is longer. A 180 by 180 mm bed is 254 mm corner to corner. A thin part longer than 180 mm can still fit turned.
Width eats the diagonal. The wider the part, the less turning helps. A 200 by 95 mm part does not fit at any angle.
The slicer decides. BambuStudio places the part itself and refuses a part it cannot place. We read its answer, not a ruler.
60 parts, three too long
The real sizes of 60 STL files from our own CAD work, against the A1 mini's 180 x 180 x 180 mm, then sliced in PLA with BambuStudio 2.08 auto-placing them. Checked on 15 October 2026:
- 57brackets, wheels, pins, casesfit as modelled
- 1a 218 x 18 mm linkage barfits turned: the slicer placed it corner to corner, X11 to 169, Y11 to 169. 25 min 01 s, 13.3 g
- 2a 200 x 95 mm stencil, a 190 x 110 mm base platerefused on the A1 mini. On an A1: 37 min 36 s and 1 h 25 min 40 s
Try your part. Enter its size, longest side first:
The box of the part only, turned flat on the bed. The slicer also keeps clear of the purge area and the bed edge, which is why we slice it before we say yes.
What you get
- A sliced answer
- Your part sliced on the A1 mini as BambuStudio places it: fits, with time and grams, or refused.
- The bigger printer, if needed
- Time and grams on an A1, P1S or H2S, so you know what the job costs elsewhere.
- Split or turn
- When nothing fits, where a cut would let it print on your bed.
- A farm if you want one
- We can print the big ones on our farms in Shenzhen.
