Is your brim really there?
You leave the brim on Auto and trust it to hold PLA down. On our three parts, Auto put no brim on the plate at all. Send us the STL. We slice it with Auto and with a brim forced on, show you which one you are really getting, and what a real brim costs.
See the three partsWhat the slices say
Auto added nothing. On all three parts, Auto brim gave the same time and grams as no brim, to within a second.
A real brim is cheap. A forced 5 mm outer brim added 18 s to 1 min 38 s, about 1 to 2 % per part.
Check the first layer. If a part needs to stay down, set the brim type yourself and look at layer 1 in the preview.
