Does your spool need a closed printer
Some spools warp and smell in an open printer. Bambu Studio says which: it turns the filter on, sets a chamber temperature and turns the fan down. Pick your spool and see what it asks for.
Work it outWhat the presets say
21 spools switch the filter on. ABS, ASA and the nylons among them. PLA and PETG do not.
Three want a hot chamber. Bambu PA6-GF, PAHT-CF and Support For PA/PET set the chamber to 60 °C.
The fan says it too. PLA Basic runs its fan to 100 %. ABS stops at 60, ASA at 35, PA6-CF at 30.
