One part per plate is costing you hours
You sell a small printed part and print each order as it comes in, one part on the plate. Every print pays the same warm-up, levelling and purge, however small the part. Send us the STL. We slice it alone and as a full plate on your printer and give you the time per part for each, read from the slicer's own result.
See both slicesWhy the choice is hard
Every print starts the same way. Heating, levelling and a purge line come before the first layer, whether the plate holds one part or eight.
It adds up on a batch. On this bracket a full plate saves 12.5 minutes per part. On 300 of them that is 62 printer-hours.
The fix is a stock. Print full plates when the printer is free and ship from the shelf.
Two real slices, one part
A small bracket from our walking robot in PETG on a Bambu A1, 0.20 mm Standard, auto-oriented and arranged by the slicer the way our farm plates it. Sliced on 15 October 2026:
- 1one on the plate16 min 43 s, 0.90 g
- 8a plate of eight34 min 03 s, 6.73 g: 4 min 15 s and 0.84 g each
Now your batch. Pick how you print it and how many:
Plates back to back. On this bracket a plate of eight is 3.9 times faster per part than one at a time. Your part will differ, which is why we slice it.
What you get
- The slicer's own numbers
- Seconds and grams read off BambuStudio's result, with the exact printer, process and filament presets, so anyone can slice it again and get the same.
- Alone and as a full plate
- Time per part both ways on your printer, and how many fit on one plate.
- The warnings, before the batch
- Cantilevers, supports and orientation, found on one part instead of on part 40.
- A farm if you want one
- We can print the batch across our farms in Shenzhen, at the hours we quoted.
