Which printers scan the first layer

A bad first layer is the commonest way an unattended print fails. A few printer presets switch on a scan of it before the print carries on.

What the presets say

Printers that scan. X1, X1 Carbon, X1E.

Printers that do not. A1 mini, A1, A2L, P1P, P1S, P2S, H2S, H2D, H2D Pro, H2C, X2D.

Off in the newer presets. The H2 family, P2S and X2D presets leave scan_first_layer off.

From BambuStudio 02.08.02.61, its own printer presets for 14 Bambu Lab printers with a 0.4 mm nozzle, each resolved through its parent presets. Field: scan_first_layer in each printer preset. Where it is off, Bambu Studio does not ask the printer to scan.
