One part in 12 materials
You know the part, and you are choosing the plastic. Each one prints at its own speed, temperature and weight, and the difference shows up in the hours of a batch. We sliced the same shell from our small walking robot in 12 materials on a Bambu Lab P1S, with Bambu's own presets.
See the 12 slicesWhat the slices say
TPU takes 2.3 times as long. PLA prints the shell in 38 min, TPU in 1 h 28 min. The soft filament is held to 2.8 mm³/s through the nozzle, PLA to 21.
Fibre is not always slower. PETG-CF takes 44 min and plain PETG 59 min, because the blend runs its own faster preset. PLA-CF goes the other way: 46 min against PLA's 38. Bambu's own presets ask a hardened nozzle (HRC 40) for PETG-CF, PLA-CF, PA-CF and PA6-CF; the P1S profile lists a stainless steel one.
The weight moves too. The same shell is 11.1 g in ABS and 14.4 g in TPU, almost a third more plastic. Bought by the kilo, that is part of the price.
The 12 slices, fastest first
The part: the left crotch shell of our walking robot, auto-oriented, 0.20 mm Standard, Bambu Lab P1S 0.4 mm nozzle, textured PEI plate. Sliced with BambuStudio 02.08.02.61 on 16 October 2026; every file passed our file check.

Now your batch. Pick a material above, then how many:
Times and grams are the slicer's own estimates for one part per plate. Your part will rank differently, which is why we slice it.
What you get
- Your part in the materials you are weighing
- Real slices with time, grams and temperatures, on the printer you will use.
- What each one asks of the printer
- Enclosure, hardened nozzle, bed surface, drying, named per material.
- The file checked
- Every temperature and move against the printer's limits.
- A farm if you want one
- We can print the batch across our farms in Shenzhen.
